Review
This review applies to version 2.0
The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our

Screen Monkey is a very small application that accomplishes a very specific task. It could be very useful if you want to display several files (powerpoint, video, dvd, etc.) in a full-screen mode, but...using a second monitor. It will act as a little toolbar on the primary display, and you can change the media with just one click. This way you can show some content to a specific audience or conference, without leaving the full-screen mode, thus saving valuable time and concentration for the meeting.
Each media type (format) has its own "Live Monitor", this is just a standard navigation tool. This is very interesting because you can select file sections, ppt slides, etc.
In my test, I opened a couple of files, but the program displayed them centered on my screen, that's why it just did not seem to work: I need a second screen or display!
In my opinion, the program has a lot of work to do, but after all...this is not the latest version...why don't you just update? You will get a lot of new features for sure. |
- Live monitor options adapts itself to the file format.
- Variety of file formats supported.
|
- Keyboard goes crazy.
- Opens .ppt files but not .pps.
- Lacks a lot of important updates.
